Kenpo Hall of Fame, charter member 2007

 Mr. Dave Simmons began his training in Kenpo, at Al Tracys San Jose school, in 1966. It was in 1969, that he received is Shodan(1st black) from Mr. Tracy. He opened up his first Tracy's Kenpo School in Long Island, in 1971. From 1971 to 1975, he was responsible for opening and running 4 schools in the state of New York.

In 1976, he moved to the Midwest. From 76 to the 90s, he taught privately or by contract. By 1999, Mr. Simmons opened his Twin Dragon Kenpo Karate school. In 2002, he was granted Hachidan (8th DAN Black Belt) by Grand Master Al Tracy. In June 2007, honored by GM Al Tracy and the Yudanshakai as a Charter Member to the Kenpo Hall of Fame.
